Expanding a shop floor was a challenge from the very beginning but DSR Services really helped us get through it and we’re in a totally different place now commercially to where we were a year ago. It’s nice to able to say that you’re in so much demand that you need to expand but it’s not as easy as you’d think between wrestling the bank for credit and keeping your customers assured of supply lines. We couldn’t afford any interruption to our existing operation but we were confined to adding on to an existing, functioning manufacturing unit. DSR Services assured us that they could manage the site in such a way that we could continue with our BAU, and be ready to start using the additional unit on a stage by stage basis, eventually expanding to full use of the new space, as the builders were moving out. 

Last year when we decided to revamp our 40 y/o suburban home instead of trying to sell and buy again, we were very clear on what we wanted and we were looking for an architect who would listen to our vision. DSR Services was exactly what we were looking for; experienced, attentive and really in tune with our needs i.e. to modernise our home, to child proof it for the next 20 years and ensure we don’t have to start knocking walls again in our sixties!

Running a business in the city centre has its challenges but changing our retail image and giving our flagship store a facelift before the busy Christmas market was one of the biggest leaps of faith we’ve ever taken.  We sat down and tried to think of all of the things that might make the build difficult or even impossible, from noise and parking restrictions to the limitations of refurbishing a listed building. When we presented these worries to the DSR team we discovered they’d already thought of all these, and more and that they already knew how to handle them. 

DSR helped us get precisely the extension that we wanted. We knew roughly what we wanted but they brought a lot of ideas and experience to the table and that has made our home project even better. They answered every technical, design and usability questions that we had. I was very comfortable working with them as they knew everything that we wanted them to know about.
